Our hygienists do the majority of cleaning, periodontal care, and one-on-one patient education at Glisten Dental Gilbert. Our front-desk team verifies insurance, walks you through financing options, and helps you understand every line of your treatment estimate. We hire for warmth as aggressively as we hire for skill — ask for your hygienist by name.

Dr. Dawood’s approach
Patients come to Glisten after leaving another dentist for a short list of reasons, and Dr. Dawood names them plainly: over-diagnosis, treatment that costs more than it should, a plan built around what’s necessary for the practice instead of what’s necessary for you — and, as often as any of those, simply not feeling any compassion or connection from the person across the chair.
Her practice is built as the answer to that list. Care is unhurried — “we will go at your pace, we are in no rush” is not marketing copy here, it’s the instruction the team operates on. Treatment plans are limited to what you actually need. Cost is walked through line by line, with your insurance benefits open on the screen, before anything is scheduled. And nothing clinical begins until you’re numb, comfortable, and tested-numb.
Gilbert is where this started. Dr. Revan Dawood, DMD, founded Glisten Dental here; the same standard now runs at the Mesa and Glendale practices, but this is the original chair.

Modern technology
Digital X-rays, 3D iTero scanners, same-day crowns (where clinically appropriate), intraoral cameras, and IV/oral sedation options for anxious patients.
Same-day emergencies
If you call before noon and you’re in pain, we’ll do everything possible to see you the same day. Severe toothache, broken tooth, abscess — we don’t make emergencies wait.
Insurance + financing
Most PPO plans accepted, including Delta Dental of Arizona, Cigna, Aetna, BCBS of AZ, and UnitedHealthcare. CareCredit and in-house payment plans for larger cases. Membership plan for uninsured patients.
